Welcome to the website of
Signs of the Times magazine
Australian / New Zealand edition.
In this month's Signs:
Happily married
to American wife Tami and father
to two boys, Dylan and Tyler, Roos
has always been the family man, never
sending them to “warm the bench” in
pursuit of his career.
Eden’s “pre-sin”
foods weren’t manufactured in feed
lots or even on family dairy farms. They
grew in a garden!
It is easy
to assume that the tendency to escape from reality
rather than confront and solve problems is part of
the human condition.
The Pilgrims’ journey to North
America began with the Puritans
of North Nottinghamshire,
England, who were frustrated by
the lack of reform in the established
Church of England and so chose to
separate themselves from it.
If life were merely about money, it
would be like a game of Monopoly.
At the end of the game, you’d
count your cash, add up the
value of your assets and find out
whether you’d won or lost. Then you’d
breathe your last.
Those who reject the Son
will miss the opportunity of obtaining a
full life now—and a life eternal.

Internet Censorship
The attempt to stop people accessing
certain information on the web continues to be
a monumental task.
Going the Distance
“A friend is a person
known well to another and regarded
with liking, affection and loyalty.” Why, then,
does it sometimes seem so hard to
make good, long-lasting friends?
God’s Tailor-made Job
Now I knew that He cared specifically
for me. It was the beginning of a
change in my relationship with God,
one that is now a very personal one.
Is God’s Law
Still Important?
We humans would
much rather check off the
boxes that correlate with right
behaviour than to accept a
free gift of grace or change
our hearts to be more in line
with God’s.
Helping the
Blind to See
Performing normal
day-to-day activities proved a challenge, and
she could no longer enjoy the experience of sitting
in a chair and reading her favourite book.
The Invitation
Our sins
have made such transformation humanly impossible,
but, fortunately for humankind, “nothing
is impossible with God.”
Holidays in Hot
States
Feeling cold? If so, count yourself blessed
because right now somewhere in the world,
it’s too hot!
